Why is the house pink?

News

The university house turned pink yesterday, and they plan to keep it so until the end of October during night time. Why?

Last night, the University house inside the Lundagård park turned pink.

The reason behind it is to draw awareness to the International Breast Cancer Research  Campaign, that continues throughout October, says the organizers.

The idea orginally comes from the White House in Washington, where they light up the house for a day in October to honour those who have fought, and those who are fighting the disease.

– We want to draw attention to the research and attract more people to donate money to the reseach against breast cancer, says the university principle, Per Eriksson.
